Following previous work we had completed for this customer we were asked to increase the amount of solar on business works at Rudgewick Brickworks. Another company had already installed a large amount of PV capacity on other roofs within the yard. Our technical design team designed a system for a recently re-roofed section of buildings using our TRIC TR Fix mounting system, specially designed for trapezoidal roof coverings. We used 349 JA Solar 385W modules, all fed into 3 Solis three-phase inverters.
Our installation team braved the winter elements to complete this installation over the course of December, and the first part of the new year. An unexpected change in roof areas meant we had to split the array and put half of it on the front row of business units. Although not part of the original plan, its certainly shows our customers commitment to reducing the carbon foot print of his properties, and is a great advert for having solar installed.
The combined power of the solar arrays is split among the many businesses on the estate, one of which includes a brewery.
