Add-On Optimizer

The SolarEdge power optimizers increase energy output from PV systems by tracking the power output of each individual module. This also helps negate any negative sting effects such as module shading.
The optimizers also monitor the performance of each module and communicate data to the SolarEdge monitoring platform where this data can be viewed. This can highlight any issues with the PV array and clearly show any modules that are not working.
Each power optimizer is equipped with the unique SafeDC^™ feature, which is designed to automatically reduce modules’ DC voltage to a safe level whenever the inverter or grid power is shut down (unless connected to a StorEdge inverter operating in backup mode).
